Feast of Some Drunken Italians

We survived, but just barely... The mis-placed italian crew I hang with in LA invited 300 people to tip back a few drinks at the Feast of San Gennaro in Hollywood this weekend. Since only 60 people showed up, we had lots of left over drinks to consume and well, we got pretty lit up. I literally walked it off. Walking from H&H to Lopex's place after I lost the crew walking someone to her hotel. Definitely a good Saturday!

By the Light of the Silvery Moon

Two nights ago, I went up to Montana street to seek the Tasty Words spoken word reading at the childens book store [EVERY PICTURE TELLS A STORY]. My friend Wendy Kamenoff produces the event and it's terrific if you like to hear poets and authors reading their own work. Sometimes she has a comedic writer telling stories, other times we'll find a noobie in the pack of 10 - 15 people reading that night. Each night has a theme btw, this month's was about brush's with fame/famous people. Good stuff, go see it.

And before the full moon fades away, go outside tonight, the photo is one that I'd taken after the show. Perched high above the PCH in Palisades.. I love the night!
